Mark Springfield
Chef Mark’s culinary journey began after graduating from Chattahoochee Technical College in 2011. Mark has since honed his craft across a wide range of formats, from Fine Steak (Aspens Steakhouse), Southern Cuisine (Table & Main), Authentic Italian (Osteria Mattone), Bar & Tavern (Coalition Food and Beverage) and then rediscovering his true love with BBQ at DAS BBQ before branching out on his own with Springfield BBQ Co.
Mark’s passion has always been cooking with fire (as one of the oldest forms of cooking) and he’s been honing his craft in his spare time for years and can now share that experience via Springfield BBQ Co.
His cooking style is heavily focused on tradition, while using his experience in the kitchen to ensure everything is executed in a way that keeps the classics simple, but elevates them in a way that respects the traditional form of cooking.
